About The Firm

Founded to address unprecedented threats to democracy through aggressive and uncompromising legal advocacy. We are not nine-to-five attorneys.

“We are not
‘nine to five’
attorneys.”
— Lee & Godshall-Bennett LLP

Lee & Godshall-Bennett was founded in 2025 to meet an unprecedented moment. The circumstances we face as a nation require lawyers with agility, imagination, and nerves of steel — attorneys prepared to fight in administrative courts, state agencies, and the United States Supreme Court.

Our experience spans every forum where rights are contested: asylum and removal defense, deportation, unlawful detention, visa denial, employment termination, and school suspension. We have faced ICE, the State Department, DHS, USCIS, governors, universities, and corporate employers — and we have fought all of them.

How We
Work

01

Client
Involvement

Clients participate in strategy and decision-making throughout. You are never a bystander in your own case. Your fight is ours, and ours is yours.

02

Accessibility

We serve clients regardless of financial means through flexible payment plans and crowdfunding guidance. Justice should not be a luxury.

03

Transparency

We use public exposure and media connections to hold institutions accountable. As Justice Brandeis wrote: “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.” It is also the best litigation strategy.

04

Different
by Design

We operate differently from traditional corporate law practices. We have fought ICE, the State Department, DHS, governors, universities, and corporate employers. We are built for this moment.
